| Tribute To An Amazing Personal Brand |
“Stay Hungry” and “Isad” are trending on twitter today due to the sad loss of Steve Jobs, a man who had a very distinctive Personal Brand, even down to his daily outfit of black polo neck, jeans and trainers. An interesting lack of care in his own appearance, considering his fanatical attention to the design detail of Apple products. Described as a visionary he is quoted as having said "Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me… Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful… that's what matters to me." And that is exactly what he did - always as he would say “staying hungry” to produce the next innovative “must have” for Apple’s legions of followers. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg thanks Mr Jobs for "showing that what you build can change the world". Another of his famous sayings, accompanied by a mischievous smile, was "One more thing..." at what you thought was the end of a presentation and he would go on to unveil another exciting new piece of technology. Some of his one more things included the iPod touch and Facetime video calling. So just one more thing... "Steve was among the greatest of American innovators - brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it," said President Obama. All you can add to that is Thank You! |
